Tonbridge Case Study
Background
Network Rail, East Anglia House, and Taylor Technology Limited have worked closely in designing and installing the CCTV system for the security requirements at Tonbridge Jubilee Sidings. The installation commenced 08th January 2007 and was successfully completed on 22nd January 2007. Work started with the Perimeter Protection System being installed closely followed by the integrating of the CCTV System.
System Overview
The security system installed complies of 5 cameras, all being fully functional fast action speed domes, with preset alarm detection patterns, to detect intrusion into the Sidings. This protection is supplied by using Optex Redwall Detectors linked to the fully functional Dome Camera Controllers.
All walkways, gates and perimeters are covered by the CCTV to monitor the site for staff, contractors and visitors. All cameras have been installed on wall poles around the fence line of the sidings and anti-climb prevention spikes have been put in place.
Control of the system is operated with Vision Systems Adpro Fast Trace digital recorder unit, with Adpro gold as the software operating platform. CCTV signage around the site helps to deter and warn staff, contractors, visitors and intruders that CCTV operates on the site for the purposes of safety and security reasons.
