Access Control

To put it simply, an access control system uses electronic locking devices to control specific doors. These locks can then be either manually released once the person's identification has been established, or automatically released once a code is entered or some form of token presented. Biometrics is now commonplace. This allows you to use your fingerprint (or even a scan of your eye) to identify yourself and open the protected door.
